A longtime editor for International Living, Jess Ramesch is the author of Escape to Panama and a collection of short stories, several of
which have ranked/received honorable mentions in NYCMidnight flash fiction and
short story competitions.
A rich multi-cultural heritage, extensive travels, and deep love
for the art of communication—in all its forms—have helped to single her out over
the course of a long career as an editor, travel writer, and public speaker.
Ramesch has called the U.S., India, and Panama home. Over the
years she has lived among the anthills of Puttaparthi…crewed a 960-foot ship on its maiden voyage out
of Helsinki…written her way across the Philippines…and very nearly bungled a free-fall
from 10,000 feet in Panama.
Her
biggest adventure is yet to come—she is currently working on her first fantasy
fiction series.
